Rodney D. Ryder is a leading technology, intellectual property and corporate lawyer. He is the founding partner at Scriboard®; He is the author of Guide to Cyber Laws: the Information Technology Act, 2000, E-Commerce, Data Protection and the Internet, the first section-wise analysis of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000. He is presently Advisor to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India on the implementation of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Mr. Ryder has been nominated as a 'Leading Lawyer' in intellectual property, technology, communications and media law by Asia Law, Who'sWhoLegal, Asia Legal 500, amongst other International publications. He is the head of the Digital Brand Management Department at Scriboard and also is a founding member of Enhelion where he heads some of the education projects, their planning, strategy and course content. He completed his graduation in B.A(Hons) Philosophy, from St. Stephens College, Delhi University and went to the Campus Law Centre for his law degree. In his stint there he was one of the leading moot court representatives and represented the college in various national level moot courts as well as training the new intakes for the future. After, his LLB degree he went on to practice law in the district courts, High Court and Supreme Court under the guidance of senior counsels. Aishani Gupta is a fifth year student from National Law University, Delhi. She was the winner and the best speaker (overall) at the 2011-12 Price Media Law Moot (South Asia Rounds). In the world rounds she was a semi-finalist and the highest ranked Indian speaker at the competition. She enjoys traveling and photography. She also is a grade 8 level violinist from Trinity College (Cambridge), London.
